Casa Minou

Casa Minou is a beautiful single storey, four-bedroom villa in the lovely Algarve village of Praia da Luz.

Location

Luz is approximately 1 hour away from Faro airport, which is serviced by Jet2, British Airways, Easy Jet and Ryanair from most UK airports. It’s a popular destination with wonderful clean, safe beaches and a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants - all within easy walking distance of the villa.

The villa is situated in Luz Park, a small and exclusive development which is about ½ mile from the beaches and shops.

There are several excellent golf courses within easy reach and horse riding and cycling can be arranged if required (not included in rental cost)

Casa Minou Overview

Casa Minou enjoys a prime location in Luz Park, enjoying beautiful sea views from the large front terraces, the living room and master bedroom. The other bedrooms also have sea views from their terraces.
We are currently installing air conditioning in the living area and all bedrooms for added comfort.

The spacious lounge has comfortable seating for six people and a TV with Sky Sport and many UK TV channels. A wood burner can provide additional heat on cool Spring or Autumn evenings, and the air conditioning units can also be used to provide instant heat if needed.

The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals, with both indoor and outdoor dining areas available.

Casa Minou has four bedrooms; three with double beds and one twin. Two of the double rooms are ensuite and there is also a family bathroom. All bathrooms have walk in showers and there is also a bath.

The outdoor space is designed for relaxation, with multiple sunbathing areas and a large patio area complete with a barbeque for al fresco dining.

The heated, private swimming pool is safely contained within a securely fenced and gated area, making it suitable for children whilst being supervised.

Casa Minou is largely one storey, but there are some steps down into one of the 3 bathrooms, so this bathroom may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There are also 3 steps down from the entrance doorway into the entrance hall.

Bookings, arrivals & departures

Arrival & Departure:

Check-in is from 4pm onwards check-out must be before 10am. While we will do our best to accommodate earlier arrivals or later departure, this is strictly subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Renting a car is recommended to fully explore this beautiful area. However, if you prefer not to, a high-quality transfer from Faro airport costs around €140 each way.

The local supermarkets and restaurants are a 15-minute walk from Casa Minou. Food deliveries can also be arranged from Baptista, the local high-quality supermarket

Booking & Duration:

We offer rentals for a minimum of one week. Subject to availability will endeavour to accommodate longer periods that do not align exactly with weekly increments

If you would like to book, we recommend inquiring as soon as possible to secure your preferred dates:

A 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. Your booking will only be confirmed once this is received
The remaining 75% balance must be paid no later than six weeks before your arrival date.
For bookings made less than six weeks before arrival, full payment must be made at the time of booking.

As we are unable to provide refunds within six weeks of your arrival date, we recommend securing comprehensive travel insurance to cover any potential cancellations.

Management & Housekeeping:

If you are staying more than 7 days there will be a weekly maid service which includes changing all towels and bedding.

Our local management team is available to assist with queries and will meet you on site to show you how to operate any equipment. They can also provide a bespoke welcome pack of groceries on arrival, for a fee.
