Valley Voice Choir

Valley Voice Choir

Welcome to ‘Valley Voice’ - the Cottingham, Middleton and Welland Valley Community Choir … bringing the Welland Valley together through song!
We have around fifty members who are drawn from Cottingham, Middleton, Great Easton, Drayton, Medbourne, East Carlton, Ashley, Hallaton, Wilbarston, Market Harborough, Corby and Weldon.
We are an inclusive choir, welcoming members aged 18+ of any ability - no experience is necessary!
You don’t need to be able to read music and there are no auditions - just come along and join in, or support us by coming to listen to us sing at a live performance.

Valley Voice Choir

We’ve created this website as a way to invite and encourage you to join us … whether you sing soprano, alto, tenor or bass (SATB).
Here’s what some of our members told us recently about being in Valley Voice Choir:
Rehearsals are fun as well as hard work. There is always a happy atmosphere and, sometimes cake. The benefits extend far beyond the music. Being in our choir is like belonging to a large circle of friends who are always ready to support each other.
Chris, soprano

I do not read music but it is not a problem. No matter in what mood I arrive to choir, after 90 minutes with a brilliant music director surrounded by lovely, friendly people, I always leave energised and with a smile on my face!! An evening I look forward to. Singing really is good for the body and soul!!
Pat, alto

The pleasure I gain from singing songs in harmony with this amazing group people is unlike any other. Our musical director has a unique ability to be both uplifting and inspirational.
Pete, tenor

I’ve been a choir member for many years and still always look forward to our Tuesday night full of music, harmonies, fun and social interaction. We are privileged to have the benefit of Debbie’s and Barbara’s professional expertise in an atmosphere that often feels like being at our very own cabaret / comedy club. Long may it continue.
George, bass
